What we are
Wichita Radon Mitigation is a referral service, not a contracting company. We publish clear, practical information about radon for Wichita-area homeowners, and when you ask for a quote, we pass your request to an independent local radon professional who serves your area.
We don't install systems or run tests ourselves. The business that contacts you is responsible for its own work, pricing, permits and warranties.
Who we refer you to
We only refer requests to radon professionals who meet these standards:
- Hold current Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) radon certification, which Kansas law requires
- Carry business liability insurance
- Install systems to the current ANSI/AARST standard for existing homes
- Give written quotes and include or offer post-mitigation testing
Always confirm certification yourself before hiring anyone. It only takes a minute and it's your home.
What this site costs you
Nothing. Using this site and requesting a quote is free and there's no obligation to hire anyone. The radon professional pays to receive requests from this site. That doesn't change the price they quote you.
Where our information comes from
Health and testing guidance on this site comes from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Cost figures are clearly labeled estimates. We don't publish customer reviews we can't verify, and we don't make claims we can't back up.
